Stonets!!! (LoL does that sound like the female version of Stoners?)
Anyways we where suppose to have the Vocal Workshop conducted by our highly trained professional one in a million Miss Jewel Tan eons ago but due to our inability to workout our schedule’s it has been postponed until….NOW!!!!
So before she gets all depressed that nobody wants to come to her workshop lets work out on a date for it. As the name applies its for vocalist or anybody interested in improving your vocals. It’s FOC (Free of Course!) and it even comes with a 30 day money back guareentee…if you don’t sound like Celine Dion after going through the workshop. Jewel will pay you $1000. Hard to believe? The workshop is that good!!!! So I know you are totally interested now so leave a comment on your available date’s so we can work something out.
We are looking at Sat evening preferably. I am good for any Sat atm (No life…..) so Jewel when are you available cause you’re the most important person atm

Been getting some updates on upcoming worship conference and I think it would be good if we could go as a worship team. To learn and be refreshed in His presence. There are two that I have in mind atm. Do check it out and let me know if you are interested. If you have any info on other upcoming ones do let me know so I can pass the info on.
Diveconference is hosted by The City Church 9th -11th Sept Registration fee is $50 and $30 for students Check out the link for more info www.diveconference.sg Worship Seminar and Concert hosted at Carinhill Methodist church Its a 1 day seminar on the 21st Aug starting from 1-5 for the seminar and worship with Bob Fitts later in the evening. I am the star of my movie. The celebrity that I believe myself to be. People are excited to watch me do what I do best, excited to hear me talk, excited that I am around.
At least that was what i chose to believe in. Sometimes we forget that the star of the movie is God. He is the one who created us, who breathed life in us. Thus we are called to shift all attention towards Him. He is the star of the movie, He is the one that we all seek to find.
On stage, the drums started rolling, the guitars started strumming, the voices started singing, the music resounded in my ears. And all of a sudden, everything else didn’t matter. Whether the key was too high, or whether you are heard amongst the crowd? It all didn’t matter.
All it mattered was; is God listening to all these?
Passion 2008, I asked God, “Do you really know me? I am just here, a small tiny speck amongst all these people, do you see me”
He answered: “He place the stars in the sky and He knows them by name”.
Passion 2010; I asked God. Do you feel me, is there something more than this, more than what I am doing?
He answered: “if only we would not mind playing just a part in the movie, if only we understood that in the greater scheme of things, as long as God is the star of the movie, does it matter which part we play? Whether we are the pedestrian, the teacher, the role who gets to speak?as long as we play our role the best that we can, does it matter if we are just who we are?”
I was not the star of the show. Chris tomlin wasn’t the star of the show. Louie giglio wasn’t the star of the show, david crowder wasn’t the star of the show.
But they played parts in it. I didn’t know the drummers name in David crowders band, but I knew he played a part in creating the atmosphere of worship.
But in the world today, we are all striving to play the best role as the star of our own show.
Being in Passion 2010, it reinforced my commitment in 5 Stones.
I believe that lots of prayer, seeking and earnest sanctification went into the preparation of Passion 2010. And of course, many many hours of practice and rehearsal.
From the line up of the worship songs, the gradual built up from Sing Sing Sing for familiarity for the people to warm up to the presence of God, to the all time favorite “How Great is our God”, meticulous planning was seen.
From worship and deep prayer to break into the sermon and from there to signify the great awakening of our souls; they arranged for “Awakening” to be sung, to reinforce that moment into our spirits.
I learnt how important preparation and sanctification means to a worship team. For at that moment when the crowd is cheering and the applause is ringing, you have to know that you are not the star of the show, for that moment you need to let God take control, for that moment we need to not let the exhilaration of the atmosphere take control of our hearts.
For how can we lead people into the presence of God, if we ourselves cannot enter into the presence of God.
If we were not technically competent; how can we too smoothly lead the people into worship?
I ask myself these questions, and I pray that God will give us the strength to do our best in our small little parts in God’s epic movie.

Hey all Undignified 2010 “On Earth As It Is In Heaven” A Night of Worship. I encourage all of you to come in fact feel free to invite anybody you wish. I believe God’s presence will be there and what better way to spend a saturday evening worshipping God collectively with christians all over Singapore? Not something that happens very often! And I believe that there is power in unity!

Anybody Interested? It FOC lol and I do think it would be good for the team to go. We hardly or have not had the chance to just worship GOD so I want to encourage you guys to block out the date, we could meet up for dinner and head down together. What do you guys think?

Alright! After so long we have finally committed ourselves to a night of worship. All the months of talking about it has finally lead to something concrete. Sounds familiar? LoL. It’s our first BIG project as a team and we are all excited about it and we want you to be part of it.
GENESIS marks the beginning of what we pray will become a movement for us. A time of worship, doesn’t matter the place or which band is playing or from what church we are from but a generation of people whom come for one reason and one reason only and that is to worship the Lord most High! Can you imagine a room full of believers coming because of God and God alone, each heart prepared to worship, to thank Him for the lives that we have, to praise the one God that is worthy of our praise. A room so filled with praise and thanks giving that God cannot but help make His presence know. Can you imagine that? I can… I see it in my head and my heart and I pray that one day my eyes will see that come to pass. I invite you now to be part of that vision, a united church praising one God with total abandonment.
Not of the faint hearted!! We will make our praise LOUD not cause we have to but because His name is worth SHOUTING ABOUT!
